Holly Christmas investigates ... A Partridge in a Pear Tree.
It's Boxing Day 1922, and in an attempt to heal a long-running dispute, Sir Henry Follard invites his neighbour, Colonel Wigstock, to join him on the annual patridge shoot. What should have been a festive reconciliation, however, turns to sensation when what seems to have been an accident is discovered to have been a murder.
Suspicion falls on Colonel Wigstock and on the dead man's two sons. But who is really the murderer?
